Just installed on our B and B, Glacier Gallery's, rooftop. This environmentally friendly, green and CSA certified device reduces hot water heating bills and carbon emissions by up to 60%. There are no pumps or chemicals involved. There may be federal and provincial grants in place which reduce your cost. There are five more different solar water heaters available in Canada, all at least three times more expensive than this very simple and most affordable system.

HOW IT WORKS:
Cold water comes in under regular city pressure. It goes into the tank on the roof where pipes attached to the tank are heated by the sun; the hot water goes into your hot water tank. On sunny days this gives you two 40 gallon tanks of free hot water, somewhat less on cloudy days.
